🇫🇷Pépinière Filippi

Pépinière Filippi, operating from Mèze in the Hérault département of southern France, is a specialist ecological nursery run by Clara and Olivier Filippi for over 30 years. The nursery produces and sells more than 1,000 species and varieties of Mediterranean drought-tolerant plants — including shrubs, perennials, aromatic herbs, and groundcovers — all raised outdoors under minimal irrigation to ensure hardened, garden-ready stock. Plants are selected from extensive botanical expeditions around the Mediterranean basin and are suited to challenging conditions such as intense summer drought, poor soils, coastal winds and occasional frost. Orders are dispatched weekly across France (minimum €200) and to most EU countries (minimum €250), with on-site collection also available; the nursery is closed in high summer with dispatching resuming in mid-September. The shop also sells several books authored by Olivier Filippi on designing and maintaining water-wise gardens.
