This is a webshop you want to visit (I want to give them a 5. But I can't. That would dishonor the webshops who did get a 5).

First of all: They have an amazing collection, they seem like good people who live for what they love: Plants. Delivery and delivery costs are also amazing. Even once got a free Blueberry as a gift. Thanks for the amazing honey berries!

However: Size of plants sometimes dissapoints a little compared to other nurseries. I also ordered some blueberries from them and one turned out to be a honeyberry. Something probably went wrong with labeling. Talking about labeling, the labels sometimes aren't clear. Leveling up size to competitors and a better label printer would give them a 5.

Shop description

Eetbaargoed is a Dutch specialist webshop run by Arjan & Esther, based in Vaassen, focused entirely on edible plants for home food forests and permaculture gardens. Their core speciality is honeyberry (haskap, Lonicera caerulea), for which they claim to be the leading variety expert in the Netherlands, selling individual plants and curated pollination packages. Beyond that, they stock a broad range of fruit trees and shrubs — including mulberry, apple, Japanese plum, aronia, raspberries, loganberries and cornelian cherry — as well as rarer exotic fruits hardy to the Dutch climate such as pawpaw (Asimina triloba), persimmon (kaki), and mulberry cultivars. Nut trees (walnut, heartnut, dwarf walnut) form another category, alongside permaculture support plants: edible perennials, medicinal herbs, and pollinator-friendly species. They also sell garlic bulbs and some soil-improvement/plant-protection supplies. The shop has a clear ecological ethos — no artificial fertilisers or chemicals — and positions itself as a knowledge-sharing resource as much as a retailer, with growing advice woven throughout the site.
